Asthma Control
Asthma is a chronic lung condition characterized by difficulty breathing.
Asthma affects 7-10% of children. Symptoms may be worsened by many things including allergens such as cat dander and smoke,
extreme emotions, cold weather and exercise. Proper use of medications like inhaled bronchodilators and steroids can
decrease the severity and frequency of exacerbations. Please talk to our pharmacists about finding ways to improve asthma
control through use of medication and control of environmental factors.
