Foot Care

Our RNs and LPNs provide enhanced foot care services with the highest standards
of infection control practices for foot care tools and techniques.

Footcare Our RNs and LPNs are certified to provide foot care. They can address various foot problems such as calluses, corns and dry cracked heals, and can also provide foot care for patients with diabetes. Seniors or those who have difficulty trimming their own nails find this service ideal. Seniors are offered a reduced rate for footcare.

Basic foot care services include:

  • Basic nail care
  • Dry cracked heels
  • Thickened and/or fungal nail care
  • Diabetic foot care
  • Potential risk factors and education
  • Foot implements - toe tubes, toe spacers, hammer toe crest
 

Foot care is very important for a person who has diabetes and/or other types of circulation concerns such as:

  • Feet and lower leg swelling
  • Neuropathy or loss of sensation in feet
  • Foot ulcers or sores that are slow to heal
  • Diabetic foot care
  • Changes in the shape of your feet
